My name is Doug Kirchmann and I am married to the love of my life Tash and together we are blessed to have two awesome little gentlemen in our lives, Brady and Cavin.

We live in sunny South Africa in Johannesburg. Johannesburg, if you did not know, is the most treed city in the world and probably the most beautiful city in the world in spring.

I studied Mechanical Engineering and practiced for a few years as a Packaging Engineer. This simply means I became quite good at putting beer and Coke into bottles and cans.

And since then I have had varied business exposure from Recruitment, Sales Training, Business Coaching and now I work as a Sales Engineer selling Process Solutions into the Coatings Industry; think Paint, Fertiliser, Cosmetics, Chocolate and anything else that coats things in layers.

Many people ask me about my Twitter Account and why I only post Motivational Quotes and Affirmations. There is a simple reason and unfortunately it is self-serving; I post them because they keep my head straight and focused on my goals.

And, because they are in the public space, many people have picked up on them and I hope that my daily motivations motivate others to succeed too in their daily adventures.

It is African tradition to leave someones house with a gift, normally food but I can’t give you food here, so here is some food for thought. A book that made a marked difference in the way that I think about money. Written in 1910 it is not a modern watered down version of the real truth. Take it and read it……..
